Although humans have achieved many incredible achievements over the years in building, science, and technology, these advancements have produced a large amount of waste, toxins and has caused the degradation of our environment. This talk from TED.com reminds us that we were not the first organisms on this planet and that there are millions of other organisms who have lived on this planet in a much more efficient manner. We can learn a lot from their physical structures and how they function within their environment.
