Swedish Idea For Offsetting Climate Change

In order to tackle the climate change issue, the Swedish government is thinking about attaching information on how much carbon a food product emits.  It will be similar to the nutritional stats we see on our food products here.  It is estimated that a change in diet may decrease their carbon emissions 20% – 50%.  The Swedish are also striving to be free of fossil fuels from electricity by 2020 and for cars by 2030.
