This website was created in hopes of creating an interactive, web-based community, that promotes sharing, learning, and discussing ways of implementing positive change. The human brain is built for problem-solving, so if we all take an active role in learning and discussing what is important to us, we can solve many of the problems we see in the world while having a little fun at the same time.
Unfortunately, the website builder I have chosen does not give me the full independence I was expecting, so I am in the process of looking for an alternative. I apologize for the extended width of the pages, this doesn't appear to be something I can fix at the moment.
So here's how it all works: Once a week I'll update the site with articles, videos, papers, thoughts, and ideas, I have received from others or have come across myself. I'd really like this to be a place where varying interests and ideas can be shared and discussed. If you have an old paper, research project, article, video, presentation, link, WHATEVER you want others to see, send me an email at coy@everythingology.com or post it in The Thought Lab and I will then post it to the site. Remember, YOUR participation makes this website work.
As a welcome to the site, I'd like to share a 20 minute video I found very informative. It helped me realize I belong to a much larger community than the people immediately around me and that my actions often affect others in ways I don't see and can't imagine. Step 1 in solving the problems of the world is knowing what those problems are and how they are created.
